The Floor is a spacious training and meeting venue that we enjoy using to host company events, meetings, and also our training sessions. It was built with one thing in mind – a common space for the enjoyment of our team members, and to provide a comfortable space that helped to encourage learning and new ideas amongst our visitors.
Training is not just about the instructor, but also about the learning environment.
This is a special space for both the IK Family and our clients, where we conduct trainings and IK in-house events.
The most striking feature is the wall mosaic filled with the IK family’s both beloved items and objects of passion.
How the wall came to be
You might be wondering what the concept is behind this wall design for “The Floor”. The main idea for the wall is to represent this space as a “Place for all to do as they like”.
In order to portray this concept and feeling, we asked all of our IK Family members to bring along an item or object that they like or feel a connection to. We then took a picture of what they brought and hung it up on this wall.
By collecting all of these meaningful photos, we are expressing the reason why we created The Floor.
We want this space to be a Hope for All, and a Home for All.
A Warm Welcome
The Floor is a a well designed space meant to encourage the mind to learn new insights and knowledge. It welcomes both visitors and IK family members alike.
It remains one of the most popular in-house venues within IK, and everyone loves it as a place to chill out and catch up with other IK team members.
Inside the Floor’s main lobby is another mosaic of pictures. The theme for this mosaic is “hands”. This was to represent people throughout history and in the present that have created and crafted the greatest works with their hands.
